O'ahu

O’ahu is the third largest island of the US state of Hawai’i. Hawai’i’s state capital, Honolulu, is located on the island. Pearl Harbor, the site of an attack on the United States by the Japanese navy in 1941, is also located on O’ahu. Well-known attractions include Diamond Head and Waikīkī. Bayonet Constitution, Hawaii

On 30 June 1887, King Kalakaua of Hawaii signed a new constitution, under threat of violent revolution, seriously limiting the prerogatives of the Hawaiian Monarchy. The constitution was later referred to as the Bayonet Constitution.

Queen Lili‘uokalani Deposed
