Park Lane

Park Lane is a road in the City of Westminster, London, England. It runs from Hyde Park Corner to Marble Arch, along the east of Hyde Park. The road has several important historical properties. In the nineteenth century, some of the largest privately owned mansions in London were located on the road, including the Duke of Westminster's Grosvenor House. In the Sherlock Holmes story "The Adventure of the Empty House" (1903), by Arthur Conan Doyle, Holmes solves a locked-room murder at No. 427 Park Lane.
