Parma

Parma is a city located in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. It is home to one of the oldest universities in the world, the University of Parma. Parma is also known for its prosciutto, cheese, and music. Noteworthy sites include the Parma Cathedral, the Palazzo della Pilotta, which houses the Academy of Fine Arts, and the Teatro Farnese, which was built for Cosimo de’ Medici’s visit.
