Residences of the Speaker and Clerk of the House

The residences of the Speaker and the Clerk of the House stood at the northeast end of the medieval Palace of Westminster, London. At the time of the fire of 1834, they comprised a perfectly-formed perpendicular cloister, with its own miniature chapter house, dating from 1526.
