Ritz Hotel, London

The Ritz hotel was opened in 1906 on Piccadilly in the West End of central London. It was founded by the Swiss hotelier César Ritz who already owned the Ritz hotel in Paris. The hotel gained popularity from the end of the First World War, attracting politicians, socialites, and intellectuals.
