Royal College of Surgeons

The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS) is a professional body and charity dedicated to maintaining and advancing surgical care for patients. It is located in Lincoln’s Inn Field in London. The College dates to the fourteenth century, and its formal charter to be the RCS of England dates to 1843. The Hunterian Museum is located in the College.
