Soho Square
Soho Square is a garden square in Soho, in the City of Westminster, London. It was built in the late 1670s as fashionable housing and originally called King's Square, after Charles II, with a statue of the King in the centre of the square. It was likely renamed Soho Square in the late 18th century. The House of Charity, founded in 1846, was located at No. 9. Rose Street (now Manette Street) and moved around the corner to No. 1 Greek Street in 1861.
