Spanish Point, Bermuda (The History of Mary Prince)
Spanish Point is a tiny area located near Pembroke Parish in Bermuda. For the first few centuries of this area's founding, it remained largely underdeveloped, and it wasn't until the 18th century that stone buildings were developed on Spanish Point. This area remained pretty stagnant until the early 1800s when development of the area finally became more prominent. Spanish Point is mentioned in "The History of Mary Prince" when Prince describes her master Captain I:
"My new master was a Captain I——, who lived at Spanish Point. After parting with my mother and sisters, I followed him to his store, and he gave me into the charge of his son, a lad about my own age, Master Benjy, who took me to my new home." (Prince)
