St. James's Park
Located between Parliament Street and Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Park is part of a network of large parks that spread westward into Green Park, Hyde Parke, and Kensington Gardens. St. James's Park has served as recreational land since the sixteenth century and was remodelled in 1826–27 to transform its canal into a lake and develop a network of pathways conducive to casual strolls.
