According to the website for the city of Swansea, thousands of passengers visit this stop on a daily basis.

The Swansea Bus Station is mentioned in Peter Finch's Real Wales as he describes his homecountry through a list of locations representative of the essence of Wales. Included on this list is, "The coach spotters at Swansea bus station." Coach spotters, as it is mentioned here, are essentially individuals who people watch busses.
