University of Melbourne

Originally located in a large area north of Grattan Street in Parkville, Melbourne, southeast Australia, the University of Melbourne was officially opened on 3 October 1855 and admitted women in 1881. The campus has now expanded to included buildings located in Carlton, a nearby suburb.
