Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is a royal residence located in Windsor, England in the county of Berkshire. It was built in the eleventh century after the Norman Invasion. St. George’s Chapel, located inside the castle, features beautiful Gothic design. During the English Civil War (1642–1651), the castle was used as military headquarters by Parliamentary forces and as a prison for Charles I.
