Heather Witcher

Dr. Heather Witcher is an Assistant Professor at Auburn University at Montgomery, where she teaches and specializes in Victorian poetry and digital humanities. Her research focuses on nineteenth century collaborative writing, literary Pre-Raphaelitism, theorizing the literary archive, nineteenth century sociability, and gender and sexuality studies. She is the co-editor of Defining Pre-Raphaelite Poetics (Palgrave, 2020) and has a forthcoming book, Collaborative Writing in the Long Nineteenth Century (Cambridge UP, 2021). Additionally, her research on Victorian poetics and collaboration have appeared in Victorian PoetryVictorian StudiesVictoriographies, and Forum for Modern Language Studies.
