Meredith Martin

Meredith Martin is Associate Professor of English and Faculty Director of the Center for Digital Humanities at Princeton University. She is Principal Investigator of the Princeton Prosody Archive, a project that makes available and full-text searchable texts pertaining to the study of poetry and language between 1540-1923. Her book The Rise and Fall of Meter, Poetry and National Culture 1860-1930 (Princeton University Press) was awarded the MLA Prize for a First Book, the Warren Books Award for Outstanding Literary Criticism, and was co-winner of the Sonia Rudikoff Prize for Best First Book in Victorian Studies.
