Emilia-Romagna is a region in the northeast of Italy, made up of the two historic regions of Emilia and Romagna. The region’s capital city is Bologna. The region became part of the Kingdom of Italy between 1859 and 1861. The region is currently home to major automobile manufacturers including Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati.
