Strawberry Hill House

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

The Popularity of the Strawberry Hill house was a great statement for the architecture revolving the Gothic period surrounding the 18th and 19th century. Walpole had gotten inspiration from Gothic Cathedrals around Europe. Some Details that were added to the house would be having chimney pieces, doors and cielings that were based on gothic vaulting as well as having medievel tombs and rose windows.
