Victorian-Era Telegram

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

What a telegram looked like in England in the 1860's. Text would have been hand-written. The Electric Telegraph company was one of several major telegraph companies. This one was founded by William Fothergill Cooke (one of the inventors of the first commercial telegraph systems) and John Lewis Ricardo.
