Live history night is a school event in which Lorenzo Allen-Felluga will bring a project based on his family's history and will present it to the families of other students.

In this timeline, I will include maps and images for live history night for Ms. Starn's class at Cabrillo Middle School in Ventura, California. It will consist of events throughout the history of both the Allen and Felluga families, as well larger historical events that impacted my family.

Emily Allen grew up in Santa Barbara and married Dino Felluga in 1993. They moved to Lafayette, Indiana, in 1997, where their son, Lorenzo Allen-Felluga was born in 2005.

The Seiltz family originated in Germany and came the United States in the 1880’s. Ida Seiltz was born in 1888 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She was the 10th of 11 children born to her parents. She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she met Joe Allen; they moved together to California and had a son, Loren Allen, who had a daughter, Emily Allen, who had a son, Lorenzo Allen-Felluga.

The Rouse family originated in Holland and moved to the United States in the nineteenth century. They were very early settlers of the Santa Cruz mountains, where Phillip Ellsworth Rouse was born in 1899. Phil lived all of his life in Northern California, where he owned and operated a fruit ranch. (He snuck off tried to an enlist for World War I, but he was too young and got caught.) Phil married Anna Benson in 1922. Their only daughter, Marjorie Lillian Allen, was born in 1924 in San Jose, California. Marjorie married Loren Allen in 1957 and had a daughter, Emily Allen, in 1964, the same year the family moved to Santa Barbara.

She married Phil Rouse in 1922 and moved to San Jose, California, where Anna and Phil had their only daughter, Marjorie Rouse.

The Allen family originated in what is now Northern Ireland, came to the United States in the 18th century. Settled first on the East Coast, then Kentucky, where Joseph Columbus Allen was born in 1890.
