Raphael's Sketch of the Mona Lisa (1504)
Created by Brendan Murphy on Wed, 05/22/2019 - 17:58
Description:
Raphael made a sketch of what da Vinci had planned to make the Mona Lisa in 1504, and it shows both his interest in the painting and what the Mona Lisa was originally supposed to look like. The differences in the sketch and the final product show that da Vinci made significant changes to his painting during his time working on it.
