Star and Garter Hotel
The Star and Garter Hotel was a hotel located in Richmond, a suburb of London, England. It was located on Richmond Hill overlooking the scenic Thames Valley. During the nineteenth century, the hotel was a popular place, and guests included literary figures like Charles Dickens and European royalty like King Louis-Phillipe. It featured a concert hall, banquet hall, and gardens. The site of the hotel is now occupied by the Royal Star and Garter Home, which was built 1921–24.
