Around The World in 80 Days - Events

Day 1 - 7

Phileas Fogg, a wealthy Englishman, makes a wager at the Reform Club in London, claiming that he can circumnavigate the world in 80 days. 

Fogg and Passepartout depart from London by train to Brindisi, via Paris and Turin and by steamer across the Mediterranean Sea heading to Suez, Egypt

Day 7 - 20

Fogg and Passepartout travel through Italy, cross the Suez Canal, and reach Bombay (now Mumbai), India. Their journey through India, facing various challenges and delays, including an encounter with the Indian princess Aouda.

Day 21 - 23

Fogg and Passepartout travel through India and reach Calcutta (now Kolkata).

Day 24-36

Fogg and Passepartout travel Across the South China Sea with a stopover in Singapore (facing a delay due to a typhoon) and Arrived Victoria.

Day 36 - 42

They left Hong Kong for Yokohama (Steamer (the Carnatic) across the South China Sea, East China Sea, And the Pacific Ocean).

Day 42 - 64

Fogg and Passepartout continue their journey, passing through Pacific Ocean(Steamer), reaching San Francisco.

Day 64 - 71

Fogg and Passepartout cross the United States by train, reaching New York City.

Day 71 - 80

Fogg and Passepartout travel by steamer from New York City to Liverpool, England. Then, they return to London, just in time to win the wager. Fogg marries Aouda and discovers that he had gained an extra day due to crossing the international date line. He still arrives at the Reform Club on time, winning the wager.
