This is my favorite town, Ueno. It has many museums, park, and zoo. It takes an hour by train from my apartment, so I like to go there on weekends, and this place is especially beautiful during the cherry blossom season.
One of the best place in the town is the Tokyo National Museum. It houses an incredible collection of Japanese art and artifacts, from ancient pottery and samurai armor to beautiful ukiyo-e prints and sculptures. I love wandering through its galleries and discovering something new each time. The building’s architecture and the garden outside are stunning, making it a pleasure to simply take a walk and enjoy the surroundings.
