Baku

Baku is the capital city of Azerbaijan and the largest city of the Caucasus region. It is located alongside the Bay of Baky. The Inner City of Baku is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its sites include the fifteenth-century Shirvanshah’s Palace and the twelfth-century monument called the Maiden Tower, a distinctive emblem of Azerbaijan. The city’s nickname is the “City of Winds.”
