The Bethesda Chapel was founded in 1784 in Dorset Street, Dublin, Ireland, originally in connection with a female orphanage and, later in 1794, with the Lock Penitentiary. William Henry Krause was incumbent of Bethesda Chapel from 1840 to 1852. It was converted into a cinema between 1913 and 1981, then became Dublin’s Wax Museum, and was demolished in 2005.
