Throughout my reading of Bleak House I have been focusing on the many different aspects of the book and how they have changed or evolved in modern times. This makes the book far more intriguing for me to read because I am constantly trying to make connection from the novel to something that I see everyday. Sometimes this can be difficult because I sometimes struggle to put myself into the narritive of the book and understand how the people are feeling, but I feel I have had much success noticing the more obvious points that relate to today. There are many societal problems that can be seen throughout the novel that make me feel much closer to the book, because even after over a century those problems still plague our modern society.
