Christchurch workhouse was located on Marlborough Street in Southwark. It was designed in 1834 by George Allen for the St. Saviour’s Poor Law Union. It included a workroom, kitchen, laundry, nursery, and dining room. The building no longer stands and in its place is Southwark College.
