Kensington is a district in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in West London. It is the site of the commercial area of Kensington High Street, as well as Kensington Palace, a royal residence and the childhood home of Queen Victoria, and the surrounding Kensington Gardens, which are now open to the public.
