Knightsbridge Cavalry Barracks

Located at the south end of Hyde Park, and now often called the Hyde Park Barracks, the Knightsbridge Barracks were constructed at the end of the eighteenth century, at a time when the government was concerned with growing civil unrest and no longer wished to have soldiers billeting with civilians, who may turn them against the government.
