Norwegian Wood, Haruki Murakami
Kyoto, Japan is the location where Naoko's "treatment center" was located. Watanabe went to visit Naoko at this location, when she was at one of her lowest points during the novel. In Kyoto we learn how Naoko is trying to survive and get through some tramatic times.
