In the third novel in this series, we are brought back to California, this time in San Francisco. There are not as many threats to June and Day as there were in the first two novels. However, this is the epicenter of the plague that is attacking their country. The two go back to California in order to see if they are able to help put a stop to this deadly disease causing so much havoc.
