The Light of Ong zwarba is an artistic piece by Sidney Sime, which was part of Lord Dundany’s fantastical story “The Fall of Babbulkund,” in the collection The Sword of Welleran and Other Stories in 1908 (isfbd). In a 1924 newspaper article by J.B., it is said that Sime often depicted devil-like creatures with slit eyes. It is interesting that in this image, which is of a Goddess, she has those similar slitted eyes. There is a dimension of horror in the way the Goddess stares directly forward, devil-like eyes below her shining crown.
