In Romance of a Shop, this is where Francis gets married to Edward Marsh. The book says, “At the end of August, Fanny was quietly married at Marylebone Church” (Levy). Historically, it was an Anglican church on Marylebone Road in London. It was constructed between 1813-1817, and it was designed by Thomas Hardwick. A bomb fell on the church in the closing years of WW2, repairs were then made.
