Piccadilly is a road in London in the city of Westminster. This street is a very popular tourist attraction and has been for many years because it is around a mile long and filled with many historical buildings. At the west end of the road there is Hyde Corner Park, which is mentioned in Landon’s poem when she says, “ The smoke, the noise, the dust of day, / Have vanished from the scene; / The pale lamps gleam with spirit ray / O’er the park’s sweeping green” (Landon). At the east end of the road, there is Piccadilly Circus. Piccadilly Circus is a very famous square that is famous for its shops, theaters, restaurants, and it’s music scene (Wikipedia).
