Francisco Madero left Mexico and went to San Antonio and wrote the Plan of San Luis Potosí. Francisco Madero wanted to have control and power over the country. Francisco Madero wanted all of the people in Mexico to go against the dictator in the country. In the plan, he trashes the name of General Porfirio Diaz and states that all who support him are in the wrong and need to go against him because he is "unlawful and tyrannical." That if they go against him, he will restore the country and bring hope to all. The government has many issues with their leaders and the leaders trying to take one another out. What the government officials chose to do does harm the entire country and the people in the country. In The Murmur of Bees, we can see the struggle and pain that some of the novel characters go through because of the war. Many people lose things and people that they cherish and have to restart with very little or nothing.
