Ophelia is a popular pre raphaelite. This painting is an representation of feminity, and ophelia was suppose to be known as scandolous.This picture went against the norms of victoria era. In the picture Ophelia is seen as being undressed and hair lose which is only suppose to be validly shown in the bedroom.pre rapphaelites showed women as more of sexual creatures, who are capable to lust and seen as powerful.
