Odyssey (8th century BC)

The Odyssey is one of the most famous epic poems all over the world. As a matter of fact, we find the first works of Western literature in the Greek language.
The Odyssey has been attributed to Homer, and it was put in writing in the 8th century BC.
It has a complex internal structure, which is why we focus on the journey that Ulysses makes to return to Ithaca.

The Betrothed (1827)

The Betrothed is a historic novel by Alessandro Manzoni, first published in 1827.
It is set in Lombardy and it is about many different topics that revolve around the love of the young Renzo and Lucia.

Interstellar (2014)

Interstellar (2014) is a movie directed by Christopher Nolan.
It is about Earth’s last chance to find a habitable planet before the human race disappears as a result of a lack of resources.
