Rapunzel Tower

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

This image depicts an illustrated retelling of one of the Brothers Grimm most popular works, Rapunzel. This specific image is illustrated by Maja Dusikova (2017). Much like Prince Dolor, Rapunzel is isolated from the world but in this instance her evil stepmother keeps her locked up. Disability is seen in this story when the Prince falls from the tower and is blinded and his blindness is then later cured by Rapunzel’s tears.
