• This is where Lord Watergate lives and a park that many characters in the Romance of a Shop frequent, it is one of the Royal Parks of London, landscaped/redesigned by an architect in the mid-19th century to be an area of leisure for the royal family and other aristocrats. Regent's Park also refers to the neighborhood between the park and Somers Town, Camden.

The girls felt listless and dispirited, and conscious that their walk was turning out a failure.” Chapter XIV
