Saint-Malo, France is significant to Frankenstein because that is where the character Dr. Henry Frankenstein's actor Colin Clive is originally from. Colin Clive is actually a familiar name in adaptations as he played a character from the 1934 Jane Eyre adaptation. I was able to find this information from a WIKI fandom page that shows were most actors are from and information about them. This source is an example of a consumer vs. participatory culture as people can take in information and also add their own comments. Mapping this location on COVE allows my fellow classmates to learn a place on the map they might not have known anything about.
