Trafalgar Square, London

Trafalgar Square is a public square in Westminster and its name commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar. The central monument, Nelson’s Column, was built to commemorate Admiral Horatio Nelson, who died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The square has been used for community gatherings and political demonstrations, including Bloody Sunday.
