Dover

Dover is a town and major ferry port in Kent, South East England, known for its surrounding chalk cliffs, the White Cliffs of Dover. In 1844, South Eastern Railway established a railway line that connected Dover to London. The town serves as the setting for Matthew Arnold’s famous poem “Dover Beach.”
