Gassing During War

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

While gassing during war may have seemed like a new strategy, the effects it had on both the soliders using and experiecing it and those making the chemicals where detrimental. The Battle of Somme was one battle of WWI that used many gasses as weaponary during its fight. This photo depicts just how powerful such gasses were, but it can't represent the psychological effects it has on those in contact. For soliders, they are expected to endure such trauma, and denied the human right of safety when placed in such poitions. Human rights have been reformed to fit many persons before, and soliders deserve just as much.
