The Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire is a Grade II* listed building and is perhaps best known for being the burial place of the poet Lord Byron. The medieval church was enlarged in the Victorian era and features many examples of fine carvings and mosaics. Most Lords Byron are buried in the family vault, including the poet and his daughter, Ada, Countess of Lovelace.
