Mos Espa is significant to the adaptation of Star Wars because it represents the planet Tatooine, where Anakin Skywalker grew up and where much of his story begins. I found information about the filming locations from a movie locations website. This source is an example of platform as a gatekeeper because not just anyone can post information on the website, and content has to go through a proces before being added or changed. Mapping this location on COVE allows future students to build on what I found and learn more about how real world locations were adapted to create Tatooine.
