We'd like to show the three masterpieces we analyzed for our project with their release dates.
In this way, you can visualize how far apart they have been published but yet see the strong relationship that makes them so connected.
In this post you'll be able to see clearly the steps of Ulysses' journey and how long he spent in every spot of the Aegean Sea.
Bear in mind that it tells of events that supposedly occurred in the Mycenaean period (XVII century BC - XII century BC) while Homer is said to have written them down in the Archaic period, around the 8th century BC.
For this reason, it is impossible to find the dates on which each of the events narrated took place. However, we can know how much time Ulysses spent in the different stages of his journey because of the numerous time references he makes when telling his story. Moreover, this platform doesn't allow us to write numbers with less than four digits. Therefore, in this timeline the dates are arranged in this way, being the year 1001, the year in which the Trojan War begins, as it is the beginning of Ulysses' journey, even though it isn't even set in the right millenium
As we all know Interstellar shows us different places, which are located in space and that makes it impossible to create a real map.
But that didn't stop us to show you the pecularities of each planet or the characteristics of each element.
The photos in this exhibit are published following the chronological logic of the movie.
Here are some of the most meaningful places Renzo visits during his journey in The Betrothed by Manzoni:
• his journey starts in his hometown near Lecco;
• he then goes to Milan but gets arrested and has to flee;
• he gets to escape to the countryside of Bergamo thanks to his cousin Bortolo;
• he returns to Milan, where he finds a very different scenery;
• at the end, he goes back to the countryside as a new man.
Interstellar is a film directed by Christopher Nolan.
Interstellar is about Earth’s last chance to find a habitable planet before before the human race disappears as a result of lack of resources. The film’s protagonist is Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a former NASA pilot who is responsible for conducting a mission through a wormhole to find a habitable planet in another galaxy.
The film is based on the scientific theories and script treatment of renowned theoretical physicist, Kip Thorne and screenwriter Jonathan Nolan.

moreRenzo is the main character of The Betrothed (I promessi sposi), a historical novel by Alessandro Manzoni. It was first published in 1827.
The Italian masterpiece is considered a historical novel but contains a bildungsroman focused on Renzo.
Renzo is short for Lorenzo (Tramaglino) and he’s an honest boy in his twenties. He is a worker and owns a small estate, so he is economically stable. He is peaceful, joyous and virtuous but, at the same time, he is rebellious and impulsive when deceived or suffering injustice. However, this side of his temperament is calmed most of the time by the figure of Lucia, his betrothed and is for him like a "light", as her name suggests.
Renzo is not a warrior or a professor, he's "just" a simple worker in a silk factory. Like Ulysses in the Odyssey...
