Agra

Agra is a city located on the river Yamuna in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is known for its historic Mughal-era buildings, including the Taj Mahal. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1556–1658. The city came under the rule of the British Raj in 1803.
