Used as Norland Park in the 1995 film Sense and Sensibility. 

In Sense, Sensibility and Sea Monsters London is underwater and the human inhabitants survive in a dome structure under the sea. 

Jane Austen includes Sussex in the opening line of Sense and Sensibility. It reads: "The family of Dashwood had been long settled in Sussex." Sussex is a part of southeast England known to be sunny and breezy. (Catherine Golden)

After the passing of Jane Austen's father, the Austen sisters —along with their mother and another female friend— moved into a cottage owned by their borther, Henry. For eight years, Austen would live and write in this house. All six of Austen's novels were revised and published during her time in this house.
