Ada Neild Chew is an English writer who was born in the year 1870 in North Staffordshire, she grew up with a large family. Her career began in the 1880's. Ada Nield Chew’s “A Living Wage for Factory Girls at Crewe,” was published on May 5th, 1894. Her reason for the letter was to advocate for the woman and girls working in factories. She is the voice for others by exposing the bad wages and demanding more recognition for the hard-working girls. In class I found her interesting, that is why I chose her to be an option from the Victorian period.
