Roman Roads Built

Nearly 8,000 miles of roads where constructed to make conquest easier. The roads were first built to make the most direct route from place to place. As the conquest continued these roads were used quicken the travel of troops and supplies. These roads were made out of what one would most closley realte to cobble stone. Through the development of Roman Britian the road were widely useful to the growing agriculture encomony and merchants looking to transport goods from palce to place. The signfance of these road effected the growth of the economy  because goods were transported from place to place more timley.
