Born and Young Life

Eric Arthur Blair, also known as, George Orwell, was in Motiheri, Bengal on June 25, 1907. He was the son of a British His father was a minor British official in the Indian civil service. His mother was of the french, and he had two siblings Marjorie and Avril Blair. He was brought up into a snobby lifestyle, which in turn allowed him to attend boarding school in 1911. He attended St. Cyprian's which was in southern England off the coast of Sussex coast, From ages 8 to 11.
